Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 November 2026

TapWA ("we", "us") operates the website tapwa.link and the TapWA service. By creating an account or using TapWA, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What TapWA is

TapWA lets business owners create a simple web page for their business — with products, services, opening hours, locations and WhatsApp contact buttons — and share it with a short link and a QR code. Customers view the page and contact the business directly, usually through WhatsApp.

Your account

  • You sign in with your email address. Keep access to that email account safe — it is the key to your TapWA account.
  • You are responsible for everything published under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information and be legally able to run the business you create a page for.

Plans and billing

  • TapWA offers Free, Plus and Pro plans. The features and prices of each plan are shown on the pricing section of tapwa.link and in your account.
  • Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance for the period you choose (monthly or yearly). They renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
  • Payments are processed by our payment providers. We never see or store your card details.
  • We may change plan prices, but a change will only apply from your next renewal after we have told you about it.
  • Cancelling a plan is covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Your business content

  • You own the content you add to your page — your business name, photos, products, services, prices and descriptions.
  • You give us permission to store, display and share that content as part of your public page, which is the purpose of the service.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your prices and product information, and for the goods and services you sell.
  • TapWA is not a party to your sales. Any order, booking or agreement is between you and your customer. We do not handle your products, deliveries or customer payments.

Acceptable use

You must not use TapWA to:

  • Sell or promote anything illegal, or anything you are not allowed to sell.
  • Impersonate another business or person, or mislead customers.
  • Publish content that infringes someone else's rights, or that is abusive, deceptive or harmful.
  • Send spam, or try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service.

We may suspend or remove an account or page that breaks these rules. Where the issue can be fixed, we will try to tell you first.

Availability and changes

We work to keep TapWA online and fast, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve, change or remove features over time; if a change removes a paid feature you rely on, we will give reasonable notice where we can.

Liability

TapWA is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for losses arising from sales between you and your customers.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this site or by email. Continuing to use TapWA after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
